Overdue update

Well, I haven't posted in a while b/c I've been a bit tired lately:) Luke eats about every 3 to 3 1/2 hrs. He has already grown alot since he was born. Wesley was hardly a baby for long and I guess that's how Luke will be too. He eats about 4 ounces every feeding now. He seems to be a pretty good baby. He doesn't really cry long cries when he does cry its just more like "whaaa" for a second or two and then he stops and kind of grunts. It seems like Wesley cried more and longer than him. It may be b/c Luke is more laid back or it might be that I'm just more confident now in my "mothering" skills. I'm alot more laid back this time myself too. I guess that's normal the second time around.

Wesley is doing pretty good with Luke. He loves for him to watch him do things like, go around & round the backyard with his mower, run in circles, swing, pretty much anything. He says "watch baby Luke." I can tell he's proud of himself when his little brother is watching him. The other day Luke was hungry and was crying and Wesley patted his foot and said "it's allright baby Luke." Wesley still does not like touching him much, but he is getting better at it. Tonight was the first night he just came up and patted his head.

Well, Fall is in the air, my favorite time of year. Even though there is not really a "Fall" here in south georgia. The leaves don't change, if any leaves, til about late november, early december. This is when I miss being in Tennessee. I LOVED it in the fall at Trevecca. Sometimes, some of the professors would have class outside. Ahh, I miss my college years. One reason I'm feeling reminiscent about Trevecca is b/c we just got finished with revival at our church with a man from Trevecca who is an adjunct professor. We knew him while we were there and him being here just made me think of my college years and really miss being there. I miss those late nights when I was an R.A. and I stayed up until 2AM making sure the doors were locked and everyone was in safely. However, I don't miss my alarm not going off the next morning and thus me forgetting to turn off the door alarm and waking up the R.D. Oops! I miss how Sonic & Jack in the box was right down the road for a late night snack. Oh, and Krispy Kreme too. I miss the spirit there at Trevecca and the chapel services. I miss driving down the road with my friends, Janet & Robin, and rolling down the windows listening to oldies music. I miss Mark and I going to Starbucks late, when we were dating and Mark sitting in the lobby with me during lobby duty. I miss going on a missions trip to Africa with other Trevecca students and experiencing the culture there. However, out of all of these wonderful memories I have of being at Trevecca, I would not go back and relive them b/c I am happy with where I'm at now and thankful to the Lord for bringing me this far and blessing me with a great family. It is good to think about these things every once in a while though.

I'm going to leave ya'll with a few pictures. Oh, and we went to the peanut festival in plains georgia, where president jimmy carter is from last saturday, and realized that we will probably need to get a double stroller. Wesley does not like to sit in strollers much anymore but when we go for longer walks, he likes to run away from us so we need to get one. My question is, mainly to Tori and Amanda, who I know have double strollers & 2 kids, do ya'll have one of those sit n stand strollers or one of the ones with 2 full seats in them? We can't decide which one would be better.

This is of Wesley & Luke with their matching "big brother/little brother shirts." It's hard to see them in the picture. Wesley started all the way at the other side of the chair and I told him to gradually move closer and he did, reluctantly.

Wesley likes to play peek a boo with Luke when he lays in his crib.

Luke's first bath. I tried to get both of them in there but it was hard. Wesley also has a busted nose and did it Sunday morning at church.

Wesley in his Thomas overalls that nana got for him.

awww he is tooo cute!!! It ALMOST makes me want to have another one! We have a stroller with two seats...one in front and one behind. lol I didn't get the side by side one because I didn't think we would be able to fit between things if we went to the mall and places like that :)
